Breeds
- Syrians : Originated from Syria and as an adult can weigh between 100-140g. Their sizes can range from 20-25cm. They come in a variety of colours. Syrians are very territorial animals and best kept alone.
- Winter White Russian Dwarf Hamster : Originated from Eastern Kazakhstan and South West Siberia. as an adult, weighs up to 50-60g and has a length of 8-10cm. Colours include Normal, Sapphire, Pearl and Pudding.One of the tamest breeds of hamsters.
- Dwarf Campbells Russian Hamster : Countries of origin includes Central Asia and Northern Russia. Grows up to 10-12 cm and can weigh between 50-75g as an adult. Has various colours available.
- Roborovskii Dwarf hamster : Countries of origin includes Central Asia and Northern Russia. Grows up to 4-5 cm and can weigh between 20-25g as an adult. Comes in only one colour. Extremely frisky, fast and nimble.
- Chinese Hamster : Originates from Mongolia and Northern China. Grows up to 10-12 cm and can weigh between 50-75g as an adult.

- For all breeds, their lifespan ranges from 2 to 4 years.
