Animals have always had a special place in my heart since childhood. However it was only recently that I had my first pet, a beige male chinchilla who we call Chinchi. Having gone through his teenage angst months after I first got him, he has since settled down and has even fallen in love with the chin-girl next door, Maia. Currently these 2 chins and several quirky hamsters have made up my pets. See their pics in the respective pages on the left : )
I am hoping that this site is able to provide basic information to prospective or current pet owners seeking information on hamsters and chinchillas. I hope Singaporeans will find this website particularly useful, especially in finding out information on chins, as chinchillas are relatively new as pets in Singapore. My apologies to our international guests who may find some information irrelevant. I do hope that the information on basic chin and hammie care are universal enough to be useful to everyone.
